Dr. Ashif has been in the banking industry for 28 years, during which he has proven himself as an outstanding leader with expertise in people-management, leading projects and producing consistent financial results within that span of time. He has excellent interpersonal communication skills, and is a self-motivated individual with a drive to achieve organizational excellence through building its human capital.

He received his PHD from USA on “Leadership - A factor for development of innovative behavior for co-workers” and a Master Degree (with honors) in Business Administration from University of Dhaka in 1981 and a Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh.

His vision is to transform the lives of children and youth of Bangladesh for a brighter future.
